AMA Supercross: Villopoto wint in Seattle

Villopoto wint
thuiswedstrijd maar is nog niet zeker van de titel.

Ryan Villopoto’s
thuiswedstrijd in Seattle werd een kolfje naar zijn hand.. De Monster Energy Kawasaki-rijder
verzekerde er zich met winst in de finale, net niet van z’n vierde
opeenvolgende Monster Energy AMA
Supercross-titel. Het ontbrak de regerende kampioen aan 2 punten om
mathematische zekerheid over een titelverlenging te verwerven. Villopoto won in z’n thuisstaat Washington
voor James Stewart en Ryan Dungey.

In de 250 SX West
Class ging de zege naar Cole Seely.
De Troy Lee Designs Honda-rijder ging
kampioenschapsleider Jason Anderson
en Justin Hill vooraf.
