The more countries we visit, cultures we immerse ourselves in, local food we sample, and languages we poorly try to converse in, I realize that in all of us there is this longing sense for comfort we seek. Comfort not in a sense of belonging to a particular place but feeling like you are at home when you find it. When I allow the soft warm sand to swallow my feet, the ocean to cleanse my soul of all that weighs me down, and the sun to fill me up like I am 12 years old and have wings again... to me I am home.
